UNODC promotes regional cooperation and pre-arrival information exchange through strengthening the capacity of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan

Mentorship programme for the member of Port Control Units (PCUs) of the Ashgabat International Terminal and Turkmenbashy International Seaport took place under the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the World Customs Organization Container Control Programme (CCP).

Due to COVID-19 pandemic worldwide the on-site event was conducted in online format and was aimed at strentgheting capacity of the customs officers in their daily work, as well as at promoting inter-regional cooperation and pre-arrival information exchange.
