The forum brought together leading investors, entrepreneurs, financial institutions, and government officials, with the goal of highlighting the opportunities for investment across Turkmenistan’s industrial and economic sectors.

Mr. Vladimir Valetka, Economist at the United Nations Resident Coordinator’s office moderated the session, “Circular Economy: The Role of the Private Sector in the Modern Development of Turkmenistan's Industry, Construction, Transport, and Tourism Industries.” This session focused on how the private sector can contribute to the modernization of key sectors in Turkmenistan through sustainable and circular economy practices. These sectors, including agriculture, manufacturing, oil and gas industry, transport and logistics, can benefit from circulars solutions as evident from the recent UN Country Analysis. Moreover, investments in these sectors will be contributing to reducing the SDG financing gaps estimated at 46.1 billion manats (USD 13 billion) of additional government funding during 2026–2030 to progress on the National Commitments to SDG Transformation in Turkmenistan.
