Social Work Specialist

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Turkmenistan, in accordance with the Joint Programme of the Government of Turkmenistan and the United Nations on "Improving the system of social protection through the introduction of inclusive quality community-based social services",

announces a job opening for the position of Social Work Specialist!

Social Work Specialists will be recruited in the cities of Ashgabat, Tejen, Balkanabat, Turkmenbashi, Hazar, Dashoguz, Turkmenabat, Mary and Bayramaly, and in the Ak Bugday, Tejen, Gorogly etraps, in the etrap named after S. A. Niyazov, Charjov, Farap, Bayramaly, and Vekilbazar etraps.

Requirements for a Social work specialist:

Education: higher education in social work, sociology, psychology, medical or pedagogical education (teaching), law, economics, and other humanities, or secondary vocational education in social work.

Work experience: at least three years of experience in areas requiring work with people.

Skills: knowledge of Turkmen and Russian, computer skills are an asset.

Personal qualities: communication, sociability, responsibility, desire to work with people and help them, readiness to work on a flexible schedule, to carry out business trips to etraps.
