International Legal Consultant/Expert to conduct a needs assessment to identify key capacity development areas which would assist State Migration Service to collect, analyze, and use migration data

The expert needs to conduct an assessment of needs to identify key capacity development gaps which require assistance in the area of SMS to collect, analyze, and use migration data. The expert is expected to develop the methodology and tools to conduct the needs assessment that will be reviewed and approved by IOM. It is presumed that the assessment will be conducted online through the series of meetings with the key national stakeholders including State Migration Service, Ministry of Finance and Economy (responsible for coordination of the SDGs on the national level), State Statistics Committee, and others. Based on the needs assessment, the project will identify the focus of the series of training sessions on gender-sensitive data collection and data analysis methodologies that will be used for reporting on progress against obligations the country undertook under the 2030 Agenda.
