About the event
The Students debates are a joint initiative of UN Country Team and the National partners on the occasion of the UN Day. This is the seventh edition of the Debates, where we are engaging young people into a thought-provoking conversation on the issues around the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
This year the topic of the Debates is devoted to Financing for Sustainable Development and the students will build their arguments for/against the following statement: Domestic resources are the key source of financing the Sustainable Development Goals.
The Debates will include participants from four universities of Turkmenistan: Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly, Institute of International Relations of the MFA of Turkmenistan, International University for Humanities and Development, National Institute of Economy and Management.
