Turkmenistan and UN Discuss Joint Work Plans Under the Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework

Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, March 27, 2025 – Today, the United Nations Resident Coordinator’s office in Turkmenistan successfully held a meeting of the Joint Working Groups to review the results of the Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) between Turkmenistan and the United Nations for the period 2021–2025.
During the meeting, the co-chairs of the five Result Groups presented draft joint work plans under the UNSDCF for 2025. Additionally, the UN RCO Development Financing and Partnerships specialist delivered a presentation on the UNSDCF Financing Plan.
The meeting concluded with discussions on the draft of the new Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework between Turkmenistan and the United Nations for the period 2026–2030.
